The Old Quay House is a boutique hotel and restaurant in Fowey.
We are lucky enough to have a fantastic head chef, Richard Massey. Richard was born in Scotland, but loves everything that Cornwall has to offer for a chef, including access to some of the best local produce available.
Rather than moving away from his roots, we have worked with Richard to allow him to express his Scottish heritage. This is most evident in our Burns Night celebrations. 2019 will be our second year, with Richard creating a set menu of sophisticated takes on Scottish classics – all making the most of Cornish produce.
Our Burns Night celebrations have been a great way of bringing people to the restaurant at a normally quiet time, and they’ve been a real talking point in the local community.
